Guidelines for authors

The journal accepts contributions dealing with subjects that fall within its disciplinary profile (Classical Studies, Oriental Studies, History, Linguistics, Historical and Cultural Studies, Social Communication, Folklore Studies and the related spheres, corresponding with the subject of an issue):

1. Articles.
2. Short communications.
3. Publications of archival and field research materials.
4. Translations of source texts.
5. Reviews of new publications.
6. Reports on conferences, seminars etc.

Manuscripts accepted for publication are placed within a common queue that is affected by how close to being complete may be individual thematic issues. The themes of forthcoming issues are announced on the website of the journal. The Editorial Team reserves the right to change the order within the publication queue in accordance with the main themes of forthcoming issues.

Following publication of an issue, authors of contributions published within it receive one copy of the journal free of charge.

The journal does not pay royalties and does not charge a fee for publication.

Authors are requested to familiarize themselves with the style sheet of the journal.
